Heavy, tropical-style downpours continue to drench Central Florida as a stalled front holds over the region, raising the risk of flash flooding and localized puddling across neighborhoods like Palm Bay.

Residents are urged to stay weather-aware.

πŸŒͺ Tornado Recovery & Safety

Recovery efforts are ongoing after a brief EF-0 tornado struck Palm Bay on Sunday afternoon (around 2:30 p.m.), with peak winds reaching 65 mph.

The storm caused minor roof, fence, and tree damage near Airoso Road and Emerson Drive, and left some residents with temporary repairs like tarps on their roofs.

No injuries have been reported.

Coming up this October 17–26 at the Space Coast Harley-Davidson Fairgrounds, the annual Palm Bay Fair returns with up to 20 rides, games, a haunted petting zoo, foam parties, two haunted houses, a Halloween parade, an Oddity Market, and more.

Admission is $7; certain groupsβ€”children under 36β€³, active military, and seniors 65+β€”get in free.

Unlimited ride armbands run $25 (Mon–Thu) or $30 (Fri–Sun).

Also happening...

For eligible seniors in Brevard, there is an opportunity to receive up to $2,000 in assistance with utility bills.

This valuable support can greatly alleviate financial burdens and ensure access to essential services.
