Late Friday night, a shooting at Castaways Point Park in Palm Bay left three individuals injured, including a 16-year-old girl.
According to the Palm Bay Police Department, officers responded to reports of gunfire near Palm Bay Road and Main Street around 11:58 p.m.
Upon arrival, no immediate evidence of a shooting was found.
Shortly after midnight, Palm Bay Community Hospital notified authorities that three victims had arrived with gunshot-related injuries.
The victims include a 21-year-old man with multiple gunshot wounds, an 18-year-old man grazed by a bullet, and a 16-year-old girl who sustained a graze wound along with injuries from broken glass.
All injuries are considered non-life-threatening.
Investigations revealed that the incident occurred during a gathering at Castaways Point Park, located at 2990 Bay Boulevard.
The victims were seated inside a vehicle when approached by individuals wearing ski masks, who then fired into the vehicle.
Reports suggest a black Mercedes sedan or SUV may have been involved, but this information remains unconfirmed.
As of now, no arrests have been made.
