The Melbourne Community Orchestra is set to captivate audiences with 'The Beatles: A Symphonic Mystery Tour,' a special concert series celebrating the legendary music of The Beatles.
Performances are scheduled for Wednesday and Thursday, January 28 and 29, at 7 p.m. at the Melbourne Auditorium, located at 625 E. Hibiscus Blvd.
Attendees can enjoy a pre-show performance by a brass quintet at 6:15 p.m., featuring Beatles arrangements made famous by the Canadian Brass.
Admission to these concerts is free, continuing the orchestra's tradition of offering accessible live music to the community.
Under the direction of Conductor Mark Nelson, the 65-member orchestra will perform over 25 beloved Beatles songs, including classics like 'Eleanor Rigby,' 'Hey Jude,' and 'Yellow Submarine.'
Nelson anticipates that the audience will be the featured vocalists, as they undoubtedly will be singing along to every selection.
